Aims and Scope

The Philippine Journal of Gastroenterology (PJG) is the official publication of the Philippine Society of Gastroenterology, the Philippine Society of Digestive Endoscopy and the Hepatology Society of the Philippines. It aims to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and information in the fields of gastroenterology, gastrointestinal endoscopy and hepatology; and for the improvement of clinical practice and patient care. 

The PJG is a peer-reviewed, open access, bi-annual publication, which aims to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and information in the fields of gastroenterology, gastrointestinal endoscopy, and hepatology for the improvement of practice and patient care. It publishes original research and review articles, meta-analysis and systematic reviews, case reports and series, clinical guidelines, editorials, video articles, image articles as well as correspondence. No processing fees are charged.
